When enabled:
Your display name will not appear to other players in a match
You will appear as an anonymous contestant to non-party members
Your display name will still be visible to:
You
Players in your party
Player Support (for moderation and reports)
This setting is helpful if you want to avoid targeted harassment or recognition in the game.
This setting will show your status as Offline to anyone outside your party, even when you are Online. You and your party members will see your åresence as Hidden. This does not affect any action you can normally preform in the game while Online.
When enabled:
You will appear offline on friends lists
Friends will not see when you log in
Players cannot see that you are currently playing
You can still invite friends and join parties normally.
Streamer Mode provides additional protections when broadcasting gameplay.
When enabled:
Identifying information is hidden from your (and your viewers) view during matches
Certain UI elements that reveal account identity are removed
It helps reduce stream sniping and unwanted contact
This mode is recommended if you are streaming or recording content.
This will replace your display name with the word "ME" in all places where it is shown in your own view. Your club tag till also be hidden from view.
When enabled:
Your display name is hidden on your screen
This setting is helpful if you want to avoid viewers knowing your display name.
Matchmaking Delay adds a random delay before you enter a match queue.
The delay makes it harder for other players to intentionally queue into your match after seeing you start matchmaking on a live stream. This feature is mainly intended for streamers to aviod "stream sniping".
Who can still see my account?
Some account visibility cannot be fully disabled:
Players in your party can still see your name
Players you add as friends can identify you
Reports and moderation systems can always identify accounts
Are any of these settings required?
No. All privacy settings are optional and can be changed at any time.
I am experiencing harassment, what can I do?
If another player is harassing you, we recommend:
Use the in-game Report feature
Block the player
Enable Anonymous Mode or Show As Offline if needed
Player reports help us take action against disruptive behavior and improve the experience for everyone.
