If you've received a ban in THE FINALS, it means your account has been found in violation of our Code of Conduct or Terms of Service. This article explains what that means and what you can do next.
Accounts can be banned for various reasons, including but not limited to:
Using cheats, hacks, or third-party tools that affect gameplay
Exploiting bugs or glitches for unfair advantage
Engaging in abusive behavior, harassment, or hate speech
Account boosting, win trading, or farming
Sharing or selling your account
Attempting to bypass anti-cheat protections
Keep in mind: Using external software, even unintentionally that interacts with the game may trigger anti-cheat violations.

Can I still access the game after being banned?
No. Once banned, you will no longer be able to access THE FINALS with the affected account.
Can I get a refund if I’ve been banned?
No. Accounts banned for violating our policies are not eligible for refunds. This includes in-game purchases and DLC purchases.
I was banned for cheating but someone else used my account. Can I be unbanned?
Unfortunately, no. You are responsible for securing your account. We cannot remove a ban based on third-party activity.
How will I know if I’ve been banned?
You'll receive an in-game notification or error message when attempting to log in. If you’re unsure, you can reach out to Embark Support to confirm your account status.
I got banned for cheating, but I wasn’t running any cheats. What could’ve triggered it?
Certain background software (like macros, hardware debuggers, or modified drivers) can interfere with the game or be flagged as suspicious. We strongly recommend disabling any non-essential tools or overlays while playing.
Can I still play on console/PC if I was banned on a different platform?
No, if your Embark ID Account is restricted, you’ll be restricted on all platforms.
I reported someone who was cheating, and they’re still playing. Why?
Investigations take time, and we only take action when there’s clear evidence.
