It is time for you to pick the sponsor you want to represent for this season’s Sponsor Showdown Event and make them proud. We’ve also enabled the Chun Jie Bonus XP and Fans Event to make your progress even faster! All of this alongside a brand new Store update, free Twitch Drops and some bug-fixes, check it all out below.

Sponsor Showdown is now live, and it’s your mission to hop into the Arena, no matter the game-mode you play, and earn as many Fans as possible to help your Sponsor shine in the rankings. This season, every single Sponsor is participating, and we’re not locking you to any one of them. The leaderboard is live, may the best Sponsor win!

Need a hand to finish those last few Battlepass levels? Well now is the perfect time, the Chun Jie Bonus XP and Fans event is live! Now and until the end of the season, you can earn up to 200% XP for Daily Contracts and up to 150% XP and Fans for gameplay.

PERFORMANCE | SERVER IMPROVEMENTS
With tremendous thanks to our community on Discord, we were able to track down a server cluster issue that was impacting the West Coast from Feb 12-25. This issue caused lag for a large portion of our players, and has now been fixed. Your quick alerts really helped us locate and solve the issue! Those who were adversely affected should now have a much smoother experience.

Increased the Objective Score given for eliminating opponents near Grand Vaults from 25 to 250

Improved visuals on multiple skins for the M11
Fixed an issue where the stomach could appear compressed when wearing certain skirts with crop tops
The Chart-Topper Emote that was reverted to match the store video now has two versions! The Chart-Topper and Chart-Stopper Emotes! Everyone who already owns The Chart-Topper Emote will soon have the Chart-Stopper Emote, too! Anyone purchasing in the future will receive both, so you can dance however you like!
Removed compatibility with crossbody items on the Wise-Wing Jumper to reduce mesh clipping.
Fixed clipping on the Renegade Wrap Playful Spirit top to improve fit and appearance in low settings
Fixed a visible hole on the Final Mantra outfit

Removed Lunar New Year lanterns and restored standard map rotation, bringing back blue healing visuals in Seoul, Monaco, and Las Vegas

Fixed missing collision that allowed players to go out of bounds and access unintended areas on a map
The ocean in the backdrop was sometimes not visible, creating a gap in the terrain. We have now made sure that the backdrop water asset is loading in correctly
