If you receive a "Matchmaking cancelled by [username]" message while trying to queue for a ranked match in THE FINALS, it’s likely due to your party not meeting the rank-based matchmaking requirements.

Why This Happens

To maintain competitive integrity and prevent account boosting, ranked matchmaking currently limits which ranks can party up together.

Specifically:

• Players ranked Diamond or Ruby cannot queue in a ranked party with players who are Silver or below.

• If your party includes players across these restricted rank ranges, ranked matchmaking will be automatically cancelled.

When this happens, a message may appear saying that matchmaking was cancelled by the lowest-ranked party member, this is just how the system notifies you of the rank incompatibility.

How to Fix It

To successfully join a ranked match as a party:

• Ensure that all party members are in a similar rank bracket (e.g. Gold, Platinum, Diamond).

• If there’s a significant difference between ranks, consider playing unranked modes together instead.
