Ban and Enforcement Policy

Last Updated: 2026-01-22

We are committed to maintaining a fun and fair environment for everyone. If you're wondering why an enforcement action was taken against your account, this guide provides an overview of our policy.

Why was my account banned?

Your account may be subject to a ban if it has violated our Terms of Service and End User License Agreement, including, but not limited to, the applicable Code of Conduct.

Accounts can be banned for various reasons, such as for example:

  • Using cheats, hacks, or third-party tools that affect gameplay

  • Attempting to bypass anti-cheat protections

  • Exploiting bugs or glitches for unfair advantage

  • Engaging in abusive behavior, hate speech, harassment, stream sniping

  • Account boosting or farming

  • Sharing or selling your account

Note: Using external software, even unintentionally that interacts with the game may trigger anti-cheat violations. If you sincerely believe this was done in error, please don't hesitate to contact Support with any details you believe are necessary so we can investigate.

Is a ban applied across all Embark games?

In some cases, yes. For serious violations, a ban may be applied to all titles published by Embark, not just the game you were playing at the time.

Are bans permanent or temporary?

We use both temporary and permanent bans depending on the severity of the offense. The specific action taken on your account will always be clearly reflected in the ban notification you receive.

Are hardware bans issued?

Yes. In cases where an offense is considered sufficiently severe, we may issue a hardware ban. This type of enforcement is typically reserved for serious violations and is applied to prevent further misuse. You can find out more about hardware bans by going here.

Ban Appeals

  3. Click the chat bubble in the lower right corner

  4. Select Ban Appeals > In-Game Ban

  5. Enter relevant information or error message you received when the ban was issued and any context you believe is relevant to the situation.

Frequently Asked Questions
