How to Check Your Secure Boot Status

Secure Boot is a key system requirement for running THE FINALS safely and securely. If you're running into launch errors or integrity violations, it’s a good idea to check that Secure Boot is enabled on your device.

Follow the steps below to check your Secure Boot status:

Step-by-step: Check Secure Boot status

1. In the Windows search bar, type:
System Information
Then open the System Information app from the list.

2. Once the window opens, scroll down in the System Summary tab.

3. Look for the line labeled Secure Boot State.

You’ll see one of the following values:

  • On – Secure Boot is enabled and functioning properly.

  • Off – Secure Boot is currently disabled. You’ll need to enable it to meet system requirements.

  • Unsupported – Your device does not support Secure Boot. If you're seeing this and are unsure why, please our Embark Support team.
