Ban appeals

Last Updated: 2026-02-19

If your account has received a restriction, this guide explains how the appeal process works, what you can expect during a review, and where to find more information about our enforcement policies.

Before you submit an appeal

  • Take a moment to review our Ban and Enforcement Policy. It explains what can lead to enforcement actions and what a “ban” means in ARC Raiders

  • Players using Steam Family Sharing should review our Family Sharing Restrictions guide to understand how enforcement actions apply to shared licenses

Who can appeal (and how many times)

You can submit an appeal while a restriction is active. You may submit one appeal per eligible restriction for our team to review. Hardware restrictions are final and cannot be appealed.

How to submit an appeal

  1. Open ARC Raiders Support and log in with your Embark ID.

  2. Click the chat bubble in the lower-right corner.

  3. Select Ban Appeals > Game Ban

What the appeal process look like

Step 1: Your appeal is queued for review

Once you submit your appeal, it’s sent to our dedicated team. Make sure you’ve included all relevant details so we have everything we need to review your case properly.

Step 2: A moderator reviews your case

Each appeal is reviewed individually by a member of our team, who looks into why the restriction was applied, checks the relevant account data, and goes through the details you shared in your appeal.

Step 3: You receive the outcome

After review, one of the following outcomes will apply:

  • Upheld- The restriction remains because it was correctly applied.

  • Adjusted - The original restriction is adjusted if a different action is considered more appropriate due to the severity of the offense.

  • Lifted - The restriction is removed because it was applied in error.

Once a decision is made, you’ll be notified with the result.

Note: To protect the integrity of our security and anti-cheat systems, we can’t share specific detection methods or detailed evidence.
