HUD Scaling and Customization

Last Updated: 2026-10-22

THE FINALS allows you to customize the size, visibility, and appearance of your Heads-Up Display (HUD), giving you more control over how information is displayed during matches.

Whether you prefer a smaller HUD for a cleaner view of the Arena or larger elements for better visibility, you can adjust the settings to suit your preferences.

How do I change my HUD size?

You can adjust the overall size of your HUD to make on-screen information larger or smaller.

To change your HUD size:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Navigate to the HUD settings.

  3. Find the HUD Scaling option.

  4. Adjust the scale to your preferred size.

Can I change how much of my HUD is visible?

Yes! You can cycle between three different HUD visibility modes depending on how much information you want displayed on your screen.

  • Full: Displays the complete HUD with all available information.

  • Reduced: Hides certain HUD elements for a cleaner view of the Arena.

  • Hidden: Hides the HUD for a more immersive experience.

You can switch between these modes using the dedicated HUD visibility shortcut.

Can I adjust individual HUD elements?

Yes! In addition to adjusting the overall HUD size, you can independently scale certain in-world HUD elements.

This allows you to customize the visibility of information displayed within the Arena without changing the size of your entire HUD.

Does HUD Scaling support ultrawide monitors?

Yes! Players using ultrawide monitors can adjust the HUD aspect ratio to control how interface elements are positioned on their screen.

This allows you to customize the HUD layout to better suit your monitor and personal preferences.

Known Issue: We're aware of an issue affecting ultrawide monitor support following the Season 12 update. Our team is working on a fix.

What is HUD Glow?

HUD Glow is a visual effect that helps certain HUD elements stand out against the environment, making them easier to see during gameplay.

An option to disable HUD Glow is planned for a future update.
