This guide covers how to change your display name and how to find your Embark ID discriminator.

Changing Your Display Name

You can change your display name in-game or directly in the Embark ID platform.

In-Game:

1. Open Settings.

2. Select Social.

3. Open the Account tab.

4. Select Edit Embark ID.

5. Enter your new display name and confirm.

On the Embark ID Platform:

1. Sign in at Embark ID.

2. Click your current display name in the top-right corner.

3. On your profile page, click Edit next to your display name.

4. Enter your new display name and save.

Your display name must follow our Code of Conduct and meet the following requirements:

• Must start with a letter or number

• No more than 4 numbers in a row

• No special characters, except hyphen (-), underscore (_), and period (.), limited to 1 symbol in a row

• Must be between 2 and 16 characters

Note: You can only change your display name once every 30 days. If your display name is found to violate our Code of Conduct, it will be reset to "Player" and you can choose a new one after 30 days.

How to Find Your Embark ID Discriminator

In-Game:

1. Launch THE FINALS.

2. Open the Social menu (👥) from the Main Menu.

3. Your Embark ID will be displayed in the top-left, in this format: DisplayName#1234.

On the Embark ID Platform:

1. Visit Embark ID.

2. Log in with the platform your Embark ID is linked to.

3. Select your account name in the top-right.

4. Select Profile.

5. Your Embark ID will appear under Display Name, in this format: DisplayName#1234.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why was my display name changed to "Player"? If your display name does not comply with our Code of Conduct, it will be reset to "Player." You can choose a new display name after 30 days.
