If you're experiencing issues installing or reinstalling THE FINALS, here are a few steps you can take to resolve the problem.

1. Update Your Operating System

Keeping your OS up to date can resolve many installation-related issues.

For Windows:

1. Click the Start button.

2. Select the Settings icon.

3. Navigate to Update & Security.

4. Click Check for Updates.

5. Install any available updates, then restart your PC.

2. Run THE FINALS as Administrator

Running the game with administrative privileges can help resolve certain permission or file access issues.

To run as Administrator:

1. Right-click the THE FINALS shortcut.

2. Select Properties.

3. Go to the Compatibility tab.

4. Check the box: Run this program as an administrator.

5. Click Apply, then OK.

3. Temporarily Disable Your Firewall (Windows)

Sometimes, your firewall can interfere with game installations or updates. Temporarily disabling it may help:

⚠️ Only disable your firewall briefly during installation. Be sure to re-enable it immediately afterward.

To disable the Windows Firewall:

1. Press the Start button and go to Settings.

2. Select Update & Security.

3. Click Windows Security from the left-hand menu.

4. Select Firewall & Network Protection.

5. Click Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off.

6. Disable the firewall for each listed network type (Private, Public, Domain).

7. Proceed with the installation or patch download.

Once complete, return to the same menu and turn the firewall back on.
