What does “Hardware restricted” mean?

A hardware restriction means that the specific physical device you're trying to play on has been banned from launching THE FINALS. This restriction is tied to your hardware, not your account.

Does this mean my account is banned?

No. A hardware restriction does not affect your Embark or game account. You are free to log in and play using a different, non-banned device.

Why was my hardware banned?

We do not disclose the specific triggers that result in hardware restrictions. These measures are in place to maintain the integrity and fairness of the game. A hardware restriction indicates that the device was flagged for violating our terms or policies.

Can the restriction be lifted?

No. At this time, we do not offer an appeal or unban process for restricted hardware.

How can I continue playing?

You can continue playing THE FINALS by logging in from another non-restricted device. Your progress and account data will remain intact.

Will my account be banned too?

As long as you follow our Code of Conduct and Terms of Service, your account will remain in good standing. The restriction applies to the hardware only.
