Speranza Security Recruitment Community Competition - Official Rules

Last Updated: 2026-10-21

Last Updated: October 20, 2026

Sponsor. Embark Studios AB (“Sponsor”).

These Official Rules govern the Speranza Security Recruitment community competition (the “Promotion”), in which eligible ARC Raiders players may submit a recording of their own voice performing an extraction operator line for a chance to have it featured in ARC Raiders. By submitting an entry, you agree to these Official Rules, including the voice and recording license in Section 9. If you do not agree, do not enter.

1. Promotion period

The Promotion begins 18.00 CEST October 20, 2026 and ends 23.59 CET October 26, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”). Entries received after the close of the Promotion Period will not be eligible.

2. Eligibility

Open worldwide where lawful. Void where prohibited. Entrants must be over 18 years of age (or the age of majority where they live, if higher) and must have a valid Embark ID account in good standing. Employees and contractors of Sponsor and Nexon, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible for this Promotion. Holders of suspended or banned Embark ID accounts also are not eligible.

3. How to enter

During the Promotion Period, participants may submit an entry via the official submission form, which will be announced by Sponsor on its official ARC Raiders channels (the “Submission Form”). Each submission should consist of the audio recording of your own voice described below (each, a “Recording”), the written text of your line (for Category B), and the information requested in the Submission Form (together, your “Entry”). You must choose one of the following two categories:

  • Category A – Scripted Lines. Record one (1) of the pre-written extraction operator lines published by Sponsor for the Promotion (the “Scripts”), performed word for word.

  • Category B – Original Line. Write and record your own original extraction operator line in accordance with the Narrative Guidelines below, and enter the text of your line in the Submission Form.

Narrative Guidelines (Category B). Your line must:

  • address the player as “Raider”;

  • acknowledge receiving the Raider’s extraction call within the first five (5) seconds;

  • be grounded in the world of ARC Raiders, and must not reference real-world people, brands, events, pop culture, or any third-party intellectual property;

  • relate to the Ballistic Gondola extraction type and include one of the directions specified by Sponsor; and

  • comply with any additional guidelines published by Sponsor with the announcement of the Promotion, which form part of these Official Rules.

Recording requirements. Each Recording must:

  • be a genuine recording of your own natural voice, performed by you. You may perform in character (for example, your best gritty Raider voice), but you must not imitate or impersonate the voice of any other real, identifiable person, including any celebrity, public figure, or ARC Raiders cast member;

  • not be created, generated, cloned, altered, or enhanced using artificial intelligence (AI), text-to-speech, voice-changing, voice-conversion, or similar tools;

  • be unmodified, with no effects, filters, pitch correction, or other editing (other than trimming silence at the start and end). In the event your submission is selected, Sponsor will apply any processing needed for in-game use;

  • contain only your voice, with no other voices, music, sound effects, or other third-party audio;

  • not include your real name, location, or other personal information;

  • not contain profanity, nudity or sexual references, hate speech, harassment, defamatory, political, or other offensive, unlawful, or NSFW content; and

  • contain up to three (3) takes of your line, each no more than ten (10) seconds long, and meet the technical requirements stated in the Submission Form (e.g., file type and volume levels).

Entry limit: One (1) Entry per person, in either Category A or Category B (not both). If you submit more than one Entry or use multiple accounts, Sponsor may disqualify all of your Entries. You may withdraw your Entry at any time before the close of the Promotion Period by contacting Sponsor at the address in Section 13.

4. Entry conditions (content / rights / conduct)

By entering, you represent and warrant that:

  • you are the only person whose voice is heard in your Recording, and your Recording is a genuine, unaltered recording of your own natural voice, performed by you;

  • your Recording was not generated, cloned, synthesized, or modified using AI or voice-alteration tools, and does not imitate the voice of any other real person;

  • for Category B, your line was written by you, is original, was not generated using AI tools, and does not copy or include any third-party content;

  • your Entry does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, personality, likeness, or other rights of any third party;

  • you are free to grant the rights in these Official Rules, and doing so does not breach any agreement or obligation that binds you, including any employment, agency, management, or exclusivity agreement or any union or guild rules (for example, if you are a member of a performers’ union). You are solely responsible for complying with any such obligations; and

  • your Entry complies with these Official Rules and applicable law.

Sponsor may review Entries (including using technical tools) to check compliance with these Official Rules, and may ask you to provide information or an alternative recording to verify that your Recording is your own unaltered voice. Sponsor may disqualify any Entry that violates these Official Rules or attempts to undermine the fair operation of the Promotion.

5. Winner selection

This is a contest of skill and creativity, not a random draw. Sponsor’s development team (including its narrative and audio teams) will review all eligible Entries and select up to three (3) winning Entries based on criteria such as the quality and clarity of the vocal performance, fit with the world, tone, and lore of ARC Raiders, creativity and originality (for Category B), and technical suitability for in-game use. Sponsor may select winners from either or both categories and is not required to select winners from each category.

All selection and judging decisions are made in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion and are final and binding. Ties (if any) will be resolved by applying the selection criteria (no random tie-breakers). Sponsor may select fewer winners than stated above if there are not enough eligible Entries of sufficient quality.

Your submission is not a commissioned work. Submitting an Entry does not create any employment, agency, or engagement for performance services, and does not entitle you to any fees, royalties, residuals, or other payment other than the prizes described in Section 6.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, not to incorporate any winning Recording into the game, or to modify (as permitted in Section 9) or remove any incorporated Recording at any time, including if a Recording does not meet the requirements of these Official Rules or applicable law, or otherwise causes or may cause detriment to ARC Raiders or to Sponsor.

6. Prizes

  • Winners: 2,400 Raider Tokens each. There will be up to three (3) winners. Approximate Retail Value USD 20 each.

  • In-game implementation: Subject to Sections 5 and 9, each winning Recording is intended to be implemented in ARC Raiders as an extraction operator voice line. Sponsor does not guarantee the timing of implementation, the extraction types or maps where the line is used, or how often it is heard in game.

No cash alternative. Prizes are non-transferable except where required by law. Winners are solely responsible for any federal, state, and local taxes on any prize. Raider Tokens will be credited in-game to the winner’s Embark ID account.

7. Winner notification / verification

Winners will be contacted by Sponsor (e.g., via the contact details associated with their Embark ID account or Entry) and may be required to provide a verified email and any details necessary for prize fulfillment. Before implementation, winners may be asked to (a) confirm their eligibility, including their age; (b) confirm in writing the rights, representations, and release in these Official Rules; and (c) provide a higher-quality version of the same Recording, if available.

Response deadline: Winners must respond within five (5) days of notification (or such other timeframe stated in the notification), or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.

8. Credit / publicity

Sponsor may identify winners in the winners announcement and in materials promoting the Promotion using your Discord username (your “Credit Name”). Where permitted by law, no further consent or compensation is required for this use.

9. License / voice release

(a) License. By submitting an Entry, you grant Sponsor and its affiliates a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid-up, non-exclusive, transferable, and sublicensable (through multiple tiers) license to use, reproduce, store, edit, adapt, modify, process, translate, create derivative works from, synchronize with other audio and visual material, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, communicate to the public, make available, and otherwise useyour Entry as described in these Official Rules. This includes your Recording, your recorded performance and voice as embodied in it, and (for Category B) the text of your line, in whole or in part. The license covers any and all media, formats, and channels now known or later developed, for any purpose in connection with the Promotion, ARC Raiders (including all versions, updates, expansions, ports, and platforms), and the advertising, marketing, and promotion of either of them. However, if your Entry is not selected as a winning Entry, the license above is limited to what is necessary to administer, review, and judge the Promotion and to verify compliance with these Official Rules, and ends when your Recording is deleted as described in Section 11. To the extent any performer’s, neighboring, publicity, personality, or similar rights in your voice or performance require your consent for any use permitted by this license, you hereby give that consent. You also release Sponsor, its affiliates, and their sublicensees from any claims arising from such uses.

(b) Editing and processing. Sponsor may trim, cut, clean up, equalize, normalize, mix, and apply audio effects to your Recording (for example, radio, static, or distortion effects consistent with in-game communications), combine it with other sounds and music, and create subtitles and translated subtitles of your line. Sponsor will not edit your Recording to create words, phrases, or statements that you did not say.

(c) Moral rights. To the extent permitted by law, you waive, or agree not to assert, any moral rights (including performers’ moral rights) in connection with uses permitted by these Official Rules, including any right to object to editing in accordance with Section 9(b) or to be identified other than as described in Section 8.

(d) Ownership. You keep whatever rights you have in your Recording and voice, subject to the licenses above, and you remain free to share your own Recording on your personal channels. ARC Raiders and all game assets and other materials created by or for Sponsor that incorporate your Recording (other than your Recording itself and your voice) are owned by Sponsor.

(e) No obligation. Sponsor is not obligated to use any Recording, and may remove a winning Recording from ARC Raiders at any time, including in future updates. Removal does not entitle you to any compensation.

10. Sponsor rights / changes / cancellation

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion (including the dates) if technical, security, or administrative issues compromise its fairness or integrity, and to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if necessary. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, or unintelligible Entries or communications.

11. Privacy

Sponsor will process personal data submitted in connection with the Promotion, including your Recording (which contains your voice), Credit Name, Embark ID, and contact details. Data will be used to administer and judge the Promotion (including verification checks under Section 4), fulfill prizes, implement and promote winning Recordings as described in Sections 8 and 9, and enforce these Official Rules. Non-winning Recordings will be deleted within 14 days after the winners are announced. Our game privacy policy, which explains your rights in relation to your personal data, is available at /arc-raiders/support/faq/286-speranza-security-recruitment-community-competition---privacy-policy/

12. Governing law / disputes

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of Sweden, and any disputes will be resolved by the courts of Stockholm, Sweden, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
