Streaming your raids is a great way to share your Topside stories with others, but it also makes it easier for the community to follow you. ARC Raiders includes a Matchmaking Privacy setting to make you harder to track.
Matchmaking Privacy adds extra protection against stream sniping by applying a randomized delay to your matchmaking and changing the server information in the bottom-right corner of your screen to make it less predictable.
Click the gear icon at the bottom right of the screen.
Go to General > Streaming
Toggle Matchmaking Privacy on
Note: This setting cannot be changed while matchmaking and has to be turned on by the game, so turn it on before you start searching for a round.
In a party, the party leader’s setting is the one that applies to everyone. If you are streaming and someone else is leading, make sure they have Matchmaking Privacy turned on before you queue.
Cover the round timer found in the middle of the screen. It gives away how far into a raid you are.
Switch to a holding screen or overlay from map selection until you are in the round. Your chosen map stays on screen the whole time you are queuing.
Keep your map choice to yourself until you are Topside. Saying it out loud gives viewers the same information the selection screen would.
Add a delay to your stream if your streaming platform supports it. Even a short delay makes it harder to get into your raid.
