Hardware bans are a critical tool we use to enforce our rules and preserve the integrity of the game environment. They are implemented across all Embark games. Here is a brief overview of what this means.
What happens if I’m hardware banned?
A hardware ban means that your specific PC will no longer be able to access any of our products. This ban is tied to your machine and does not affect your account. If you wish to play our games again, you will need to use a different computer.
If I'm banned in one game, can I still play the others?
No. Hardware bans are applied to all Embark titles.
Can I appeal a hardware ban?
No. Hardware bans are final and non-appealable.
What’s the error code for a hardware ban?
If you have been hardware banned, you may see a message containing one of the following error codes:
ARAV0017, ARAV1017, ARAV2017, ARAV3017, ARAV4017, ARAV5017, ARAV6017, ARAV8017, ARAV9017, ARAV10017, ARAV11017.
